SOFTWARE
Over the last few decades, software development for aviation equipment and systems has grown exponentially. With such advancements in avionics systems, proper management of updates and configuration has become a necessity. Aircraft operators cannot be left behind; software upgrades and configurations will have to be integrated into their avionics technologies.
Alaris Aerospace understands that many avionics parts and equipment contain software which will require periodic update—but the whole process can be a struggle. We can work with your aircraft fleet managers to administer campaigns to update all your avionics parts and spares, assuring strict configuration management.
ESD
Aircraft operators know the importance of protecting aircraft avionics from potential damage. Entry of a foreign object into the aircraft’s engine, contact of the aircraft wing with the hangar wall, or even uncontrolled electrostatic discharge (ESD) can potentially render the aircraft non-operational.
At Alaris, we put protective systems in place to thwart any potential risk of damage of avionics supplies and systems. We ensure that all avionics equipment, including Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), Circuit Card and/or Rotatable, which may be ESD Sensitive, will be handled, protected, stored, and shipped in accordance with avionics industry standards.
EXCHANGES
When avionics systems undergo repair, overhaul, or maintenance procedures that render them temporarily unusable, operators run the risk of increasing downtime. With a lease and exchange scheme in place, you can temporarily utilize avionics equipment as a replacement until your equipment becomes available.
Exchanges allow you to get a spare avionics back into operation much sooner than conventional repair arrangements. Added benefits include requiring a smaller inventory of spares, immediate source and replacement of an aircraft failure, cost savings as Alaris can manage repair while aircraft continue to fly. Alaris has extensive experience in avionics maintenance and can seamlessly make any necessary arrangements for you.
WARRANTY
Our industry leading warranty terms for overhauled parts is 12 months and for Repaired 6 months. For new parts from newly delivered or modified aircraft, we can manage your OEM warranty claims. Let us work with you to be your Warranty Claims Administrator.
